Current Education Student, Social Research Methodology

Anne Vo is a doctoral candidate studying Program Evaluation in the Social Research Methodology Division in the UCLA GSE&IS. Prior to enrolling in the PhD program, Anne conducted clinical and applied research at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute and Los Angeles and Oakland Unified School Districts. She has also earned two other degrees at UCLA -- a Master's in Education and a Bachelor's in Psychology and English. Anne is a true blue Bruin. As an evaluation student, Anne's academic and professional endeavors have primarily addressed three broad, but overlapping, areas dealing with research on: comparative evaluation theory, teaching of evaluation, and evaluation practice. Additionally, she is actively working on her dissertation -- a Delphi study whose purpose is to clarify the ways in which evaluative thinking is conceptualized within the evaluation field using input from 28 evaluation experts.
