About the GSE&IS Computer Labs
GSE&IS provides two types of labs supported by the Educational Technology Unit: two labs for general use and one for advanced analysis. Labs are open to faculty, staff, and students with valid GSE&IS logins. Reservations for the labs can be made for courses and workshops, but anytime the labs are not scheduled for a reserved event, they are open for individual use. General labs are open Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00pm. After hours, they can be accessed with the doorcode provided on your login sheet. The advanced analysis lab is locked at all times; those who are authorized to use it can obtain a door code at the ETU office.
General Use Labs
ETU maintains two general use computer labs in Moore 3120 and GSE&IS 118. Each lab has dual-boot iMacs which will run Mac OS X or Windows 7. Use of the computer labs in GSE&IS is limited to full-time GSE&IS students, faculty, and staff, and students outside GSE&IS taking one or more GSE&IS courses for the quarter.
Lab availability is subject to prior reservation. Check the calendar for a current list of reservations.
